The new designs are launching in retailers UK-wide in June 2018.
Hawkers was launched in order to meet current market trends for healthy snacks. Unlike the many potato-based products in the sector, Hawkers are made from mainly soya and are ‘popped’ rather than fried. In addition the brand is ‘free from’ additives, gluten and palm oil with the added benefit of all flavours being vegan approved.
Mayday were challenged to move the Hawker’s brand away from a standard crisp product to a more natural and healthy positioning. As such, a tree/woodland graphic was employed, to both support this and create a distinctive and memorable new addition to the sector.
The new brand identity will also be rolled out across a new website, brand collateral and distribution vehicles over the coming weeks.
