Just Eat France travels back in time with new TV campaign by Buzzman

Just Eat France has launched a new creative campaign travelling back in time with two 30-second TV adverts by Buzzman, starring its popular character from the future – Max.

In the two adverts, directed by Jean-Baptiste Saurel, Max makes a sensational comeback with his iconic fridge. He journeys back to the Middle Ages and the Age of Enlightenment, where he explains to a trio of armoured knights and courtesans of Versailles, that the future is Just Eat – A leading app where customers are able to order a diverse range of their favourite foods from restaurants across the country at the speed of light!

This new launch supports the previous campaign unveiled last January, which strengthened the position of the brand as the leader in home delivery in France.

Elisabeth Le Gall, Marketing Director at Just Eat France, said: “We are delighted to see Max make a brilliant comeback in the new campaign, highlighting the benefits of ordering meals online – it is simple, fast and accessible to everyone. The French are becoming more and more enthusiastic about ordering their favourite foods online at the touch of a button and today, Just Eat is a network that is growing day by day, already operating in more than 2000 cities across the country.”

Both 30-second adverts were first shown on TV on December 31st. The campaign also includes 18 second versions which focus on the different benefits Just Eat brings to customers. Simultaneously, 45-second versions have been unveiled on the web.
